Since 2009 the Congress has been organised as a key and very prestigious industry event, addressed to cosmetics manufacturers as well as suppliers of raw materials, laboratory machinery and equipment, packaging as well as other solutions used in the cosmetics industry. Its primary goal is to facilitate an exchange of information and to act as a source of knowledge for its participants, who are also provided with valuable networking opportunities.

This closed event culminates with a ceremonial gala.

Since 2012 the Cosmetic Industry World Congress has been organised together with the Pharmaceutical Industry World Congress, establishing a unique event integrating both industries.

Every year the event takes place in cooperation with a different cosmetics facility, which acts as the Honorary Host and opens its doors to participants within the scope of a factory study tour.
